Is Today constructive or destructive?

I am in the oddest mood today. Friday the last day of March. This year is flying by so fast. All the hardwood floors need swiffing, the kitchen needs sweeping. The litter box should have been changed 2 days ago yet I find myself at almost 9:30am still piddling around as if I don't have a care in the world.
It has been a news worthy week. Jill Carroll was released from being held hostage in Iraq. Randy McCloy the surviving Sago miner got to go home from the hospital... The weather around the world is whacko. And woman are murdering their husbands left and right.... Hmmmm....
I also need to finish shelling some pecans for a pie I am going to bake tomorrow.. That will do wonders for my diet! I will not cheat.... hee hee
Oh well. Noah is in the living room watching the Madagascar DVD for about the 250th time. Such a good Mom am I! I am going to bond with my toddler for a few minutes and do some sweeping. Next week is Spring break for Abbey. I will go bonkers being trapped in the house with both of them... Pray for a sunny week!!!!!!

Sunny sunshiny day

What a awesome sunny day. My laptop sits on my desk in the sunroom. I can barely see the screen the sun is shining so bright!
I am in a spring cleaning mood too. That is an odd feeling.... To want to clean something.

Noah is sitting very still on the living room rug watching Charlie and Lola. This is just a surreal day. It does not feel like a day that belongs in my life. I was holding him this morning. It made me realize what a blessing from God that he is. He is such a beautiful child. So full of adventure and mischief. I don't want the years to go so fast. I want things to be just like they are now for maybe 4 more years. I can even take the diapers over the first day of school.

Well, I think I will tackle the laundry and clean the bathroom. I might even turn on some music and just really get into this great day.

My first blog lession

A new adventure. Blogging. I thought it would interesting to start recording my thoughts about my new life. Well I have been at home with my child since November after working 10yrs at my previous job. This may not interest alot of people, but I want to try it out just the same.
There is always something goofy going on around here with a soon to be 2yr old son and soon to be 8yr old daughter.
The joy I get from raising my son MYSELF and not having to take him to a sitter everyday is worth every penny of the financial sacrifice of not working.
If you read any of my blogs I hope you enjoy, maybe learn something about the crazy family from the south.
